Selecting the top 16 dogs for the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race is a tough job. Jeff will measure the performance of the dogs during training and races before the iditarod, and the final decision might not be made until the early March weekend when the race starts.

Here are a dozen members of the dog lot who have a good chance of making the trip to Nome.
